An alternative might be the CR920 which is more like a 43 (no x) but comes with metal mags, one extended. I think that one is fairly new so I haven't seen reviews and I'm not sure about mag compatible. The cr mags are proprietary but they did mention sticking an s15 mag in the gun in a random video to describe the size of the grip.
