Love the Ruger Security 9, but the last two times at the range, the gun failed to hold open on last round, with both magazines. I havent looked at it since, but was wondering if anyone had any similar issues.One potentially useful thing about the Security-380 (if you're a reloader) is that the mag well will also accept Security-9 mags. There's published reloading data available for .380 using 115 gr (& heavier) bullets, but overall cartridge length is limited to 0.984" - seat bullets out much longer than that, and the rounds will bind in the magazine.

The manuals for each pistol explain the proper engagement of the safety.
