Plug ignition on power to the distributor. Use existing oil pressure switch to run the fuel pump, while also leaving the ecu in place to prime the pump on key on command. HEI, carb, intake, and return style regulator with gauge and a low oil pressure switch for the pump should cover most of it. My TBI motor was set up for a roller cam (but had a flat tappet in it) so I stuffed an LT1 roller in it at the time of the swap. Even with the swirl port heads, it ran pretty strong.
