Firstly, as far as actually using Mage Hand, it's quite easy to do. You simply need to cast the spell from your hot bar. Then once the ghostly hand is conjured, you can have it do a number of different things. It can interact with the environment and can move light and medium objects. It can also use the shove and throw actions.As others stated it definitely is missing functions. But currently here some good uses. Throw potions for heals,grease,and water bottles to apply wet. Push targets off ledges. Activate levers out of reach. Fill pouch with explosives and special delivery. Use to help activate sneak attack for rogues. Punch mage targets to ruin concentration.Arcane Tricksters' Mage Hand Legerdemain now does not expire until destroyed, and does not lose Invisibility on Long Rest. You can no longer have multiple Mage Hands active at the same time. The Shield reaction can no longer be used while Silenced. Fixed not being able to create 5th Level spell slots from Sorcery Points.
