I'm having pretty good luck with 168 smk's load with 71 gr of IMR 7828SSC. I can't seem to find a load with 190 smk's. I just barely got a new 300 win mag. And I am planning on shooting 1k+. But i am having problems figuring out how to adjust my MOA the right way. I went to hornady and they said that with the load i am shooting to adjust my MOA up by 20.2. but i have a 1/4 MOA at 100 yards. And i am wondering if...The guy I talked to said the brass life is amazing as well with well over 20 reloads on both Winchester and Norma brass. He only runs in the 2800fps range with 210's though so that helps with brass life I'm sure. He has set numerous 1000yd records with one at the PA 1000yd benchrest. It seems like it is a modern version of the old 30-338 Win. mag.

I have a Rem 700 chambered in 300 Win Mag that has a long throated 26 inch Douglas barrel. With the 180 grain Partition the OAL is 3.6 inches. With IMR 7828 that rifle 3150 FPS and good accuracy.
