It works OK in my 10/22, but it doesn't wan't to extract out of my LCR revolver. I think the brass might expand too much. It was actually the first ammo I fired from my LCR. I was using an ammo I've used quite a bit without issues, and liked because it was cheap and reloadable - Armscor. With the malfunction, the forward assist didn't do anything, but I was able to pull back the charging handle to eject the cartridge. An unspent cartridge came out and fell to the ground as well as a smaller piece - a primer.In the instance here, the diameter and weight are correct for the .30 Carbine - but the bullet has the wrong profile. They can be made to work, but the bullet will have to be more deeply seated. This will create higher pressures - yet another problem. Best solution is to stick with the original design.
